With 20 years of experience working with dogs, Susie Aga has become an internationally recognized training expert. She is owner of Atlanta Dog Trainer LLC and Atlanta Dog Trainer Dog Daycare, the preferred training and daycare facility by 45 veterinarians, 25 rescue organizations and many animal-related businesses throughout metro Atlanta.
Atlanta Dog Trainer was named "Best of Atlanta Dog Training" by Atlanta Magazine and has been featured on WSB TV, Turner Broadcasting, Comcast Cable Network and Fox 5 TV and in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Neighbor Newspapers, Creative Loafing, North Points and Around Town magazines. Aga frequently appears as Turner Broadcasting’s pet expert and she hosts “The Animal Hour" on AM 1620 radio or online at www.radiosandysprings.com.
Aga is also the pet expert for Pet Doctor Online where she is interviewed by veterinarians on behavioral problems and solutions. And she is a regular guest on the BBC’s Dog Cast Radio, broadcast from London to a worldwide audience.
Aga has trained dogs for films, TV, commercials, print ads, instructional videos and public appearances. She was head trainer for the film "A Dog Named Fifi," featured at the 2008 Film Festival. And she has written articles for Petlanta, Dog’s Life and Dog World magazines.
As a guest lecturer for the psychology department at Georgia State University, she speaks on canine behavior and the similarities of conditioning behaviors in humans and animals. She is also the pet expert for The Howard School in Decatur where she teaches behavior modification techniques.
Aga’s credentials include Certified Pet Dog Trainer and Certified Canine Behavior & Training Specialist though the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. She received her first certification from Triple Crown Academy, a world leader in pet education.
Aga is a registered American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and a team leader and evaluator for HOPE, an Animal-Assisted Crisis Response Organization. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the Community Emergency Response Team of Georgia. Her specialized training includes severe behavioral and aggression cases, special odor detection and tracking.
One of her seven rescue dogs, Hezikia, is a certified therapy dog, bringing comfort to hospitals and assisted-living homes. Aga donates time and services to Rescue Organizations. Her life has gone to the dogs and that is just the way SHE WANTS IT!

There is an semi-annual fee for inclusion in this section. You will be asked to provide a brief description of your expertise, a biography, a photo in electronic format such as JPEG or TIFF, contact information, and any relevant media experience you have had such as past interviews or media training.
