Inspired by the changes that Pilates made in her life, Mary Jo Falvey began to teach others to make positive changes in their lives through practicing Pilates.

Throughout her career, Falvey has had a tremendous passion for all areas of physical and personal development. She earned a BA in Sociology from The State University of New York and an MA in Physical Education/ Exercise Physiology from Adelphi University. She also holds several group and personal fitness certifications and is a fully certified STOTT PILATES instructor. This certification includes Mat and all the Apparatus. STOTT PILATES incorporates contemporary approaches to Pilates by applying modern exercise principles, including progressive thinking about spinal rehabilitation and performance enhancement. The STOTT PILATES approach is the basis of what she has taught students as a Pilates instructor and is the philosophy behind Pilates Tutor Studio.

Mary Jo’s favorite quote is Live the Life you Love and Love the Life you Live. It's really important to her to find that balance every day.

Mary Jo and her husband reside in E. Cobb County. They have three children ages 12, 15, and 20.
