Helping people feel better, stay well, and make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing is Dr. Hoyt Gazaway’s mission in life and the core philosophy behind the Buford Complete Health and Wellness Center.
For almost 15 years, Dr. Hoyt practiced general surgery in Gwinnett, where he cared for patients who, many times, were dealing with medical conditions that were a direct result of poor health choices.
In early 2006, Dr. Hoyt, the father of six, suffered a near fatal illness which forced him to retire as a surgeon. While recuperating and deciding the next direction his life should take, he came to the realization that caring for patients was indeed his life calling. With that in mind, he and his wife Mary Ellis Gazaway opened Buford Complete Health and Wellness Center in September 2006.
Dedicated to wellness, with an emphasis on weight management, the Center focuses on helping patients be proactive with their health, on the choices they make, and, more importantly, on the role metabolism plays in weight loss and weight management.
Dr. Hoyt’s well-equipped center has the latest technology for metabolic testing and nutritional assessments plus a wellness facility with college degreed wellness coaches.
Patients participating in Dr. Hoyt’s Weight Management Program receive one-on-one counseling with individualized care based on their unique metabolisms and medical conditions. In his role as a wellness doctor and healthcare expert, he becomes more than just a physician to his patients. Dr. Hoyt is a coach, cheerleader, teammate, counselor and friend.

There is an semi-annual fee for inclusion in this section. You will be asked to provide a brief description of your expertise, a biography, a photo in electronic format such as JPEG or TIFF, contact information, and any relevant media experience you have had such as past interviews or media training.
