Dr. Hariharan specializes in the economics of regulations, health economics and revenue management. His research has been cited extensively including in the Regulatory Program of the United States and the Surgeon General’s Report on Smoking and Health.

  • Former Co-director at the Baldy Center for Regulation and Public Policy
  • Taught Economics at University at Buffalo, West Virginia University, Motorola University (China), Renmin University (China) and the Singapore Institute of Management (Singapore)

  • Many seminal scientific papers on costs of regulations, health care and estate tax
  • Research on the costs of regulations cited extensively in the media, scientific and government publications including the Regulatory Program of the United States, books on impact of regulations and numerous Environmental Protection Agency studies
