Wayne McMillan is President & Chief Executive Officer of the Bobby Dodd Institute, an Atlanta-based nonprofit helping to train and find meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities and disadvantages. McMillan provides expert guidance to business leaders concerning hiring individuals with disabilities and promoting workplace diversity.

Wayne McMillan , President & Chief Executive Officer of the Bobby Dodd Institute (BDI), serves as a leading expert, speaker and spokesperson on hiring/employment myths surrounding individuals with disabilities and promoting diversity in the workplace. McMillan provides businesses with expert input and guidance on bottom line and social benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities. He is available for media interviews to discuss topics including utilizing the Gallup’s strengths-based model to effectively manage a workforce, as well as diverse hiring, the economy and the business bottom line.

McMillan has participated in interviews with national news and business publications, industry journals, minority publications, as well as media contacts writing about successful strategies for nonprofits and issues in the workplace. McMillan can share insights into the trends, facts and perceptions of hiring individuals with disabilities and provide advice on how businesses can implement advanced management techniques specifically benefiting individuals and employees with disabilities. He can also speak to specific research findings using local data to underline national misconceptions about hiring/employing individuals with disabilities. Under McMillan’s leadership, BDI has more than tripled the number of people served and continues to provide vocational evaluation, training, job placement and case management to persons with disabilities.
