Deborah is available for event consultation, planning and PR campaign management. Deborah Spector is president of CreativeSolutions & Innovations. She has more than 25 years experience in marketing communications, media relations, development and community relations. She founded the consulting firm in 1992.

Spector has a strong commitment to professional excellence and community. She has served on numerous boards, including appointed chair DeKalb County Community Relations Commission; the Atlanta Regional Commission 2020 Media Task Force Advisory Committee; vice-chair, Georgia Advocacy Office's PAEMI Board; American Jewish Committee Atlanta Chapter, and Women in Communications, including two years as president.

Spector holds an ABD in Cultural Criticism from Emory University. She has a master's in counseling and psychological services and an AB degree with distinction in psychology and philosophy from Georgia State University. Spector continues her growth through extensive professional education including Mediation Certification and Strategic Restructuring for Training Consultants.

Professional accomplishments include:
  • Press secretary to George W (Buddy) Darden in a special election for the US Congress
  • Co-authored the original grant for Atlanta's first rape crisis center
  • Delivered first Georgia State University speech on Sexism in Education
  • Developed & taught first in-service course Sex Role Stereotyping in Education for Georgia State University
  • 7 year consultant with senior services program in fundraising, event management and marketing
  • Staffed the marketing committee of Atlanta's Olympic equestrian center and subsequent equestrian events
  • Strategic communications plans and creative collateral for numerous nonprofit and for profit clients
  • Organizing special events, gala fundraisers and equestrian Grand Prix events to generate revenue, increase brand awareness and to outreach to major donors.
  • Served 7 years as appointed chair to legislated Community Relations Commission for the most diverse county in Georgia
  • Chaired Marketing Team 2001 All America City Award Competition sponsored by All State Insurance and the National Civic League
  • Strategic planning, board development and fundraising consultant for Bridging The Gap Foundation through a David & Lucile Packard Organizational Effectiveness Grant.
  • Media consultant through an Atlanta Arts Council grant administered by the Georgia Center for Non-profits
  • Consultant to a strategic restructuring project that led to the merger of two non-profits
  • Communications and logistics consultant for the yearly Eizenstat Family Memorial Lecture with Nobel Peace Prize Winners, former US presidents, and other notables
