Limited Edition Shirts Raise Funds and Awareness for Infertility
Mom creates shirt to benefit RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association
Atlanta mom Caren Cohen is pleased to introduce T-shirts designed to raise money and awareness for infertility. The shirts, featuring Cohen's original designs, celebrate her own two children and aspire to ensure that same joy for other women. Cohen created the shirts after a personal experience with infertility motivated her to champion the charity RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association. Two dollars from every shirt sold is donated directly to RESOLVE.
"RESOLVE is an amazing organization that fights for better and more affordable treatment options. They provide personal support through local chapters and offer an invaluable resource for information. I wanted to raise awareness of this amazing organization and bring attention to how common infertility truly is", explains Cohen.
The brilliantly designed black t-shirts not only support a cause, they are fun and fashionable as well. The funky shirts feature bright whimsical flowers for girls and women and a fire breathing 'drago-saurus' for boys. The contrast of the cute design on a black shirt represents the joy of a child and the dark journey of infertility. The goal is to create a sense of community on what is too often a very lonely time.
"When I was trying to have my own children, I was fortunate to have women in my life that offered me the support I needed. Because other women made a painful time easier to bear I wanted pay it forward and help those that need the same strength. I want to encourage women to look to each other as invaluable resources. My hope is seeing these t-shirts on woman and children will show that no one is alone", States Cohen.
