Dr. Phil and Ann Beegle Invite The World to Enjoy 5th Annual Kool Kidz Polo Classic at Their Cedargate Farms, Sept. 8th

Love of sport benefits special needs children

social-print

When the Beegles moved to their farm near Roscoe, Dr. P.H. "Phil" Beegle fell in love with polo. He got on a bulldozer and built a polo field on his 1,600-acre farm overlooking the Chattahoochee River. Now he and his wife, Ann, invite the world to enjoy this fast-paced game of hockey on horseback through the Kool Kidz Classic, a benefit polo tournament held every September.

The Kool Kidz Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that serves metro-Atlanta children with special needs. The foundation provides programming that is inclusive so children of ALL abilities can play and learn from one another.

According to Ann Beegle, Kool Kidz is a "perfect fit" for the Beegle family. "What the foundation accomplishes with these children is truly special to us. We want to spread the word about Kool Kidz through the Classic."

The Beegles envision the tournament as a grand fall tradition much like the Atlanta Steeplechase has become a rite of spring. "Come to the Classic and you will see some of the best polo in this part of the country," said Dr. Beegle. "The Classic is competitive "8-goal polo", which is fast and fluid. Some of the players are so skilled they can bounce a ball on their mallet while charging downfield."

Sponsors make the tournament a true benefit for the Kool Kidz Foundation. Sponsorship benefits vary from VIP tickets allowing admission to the hospitality tent, meal & beverage and the evening party to private tents, participation in the awards ceremony and extensive marketing exposure. The event Web site describes sponsorship benefits and levels and has a sponsorship order form to download at http://www.koolkidzclassic.com/sponsors/sponsors.htm.
