Dale Crownover, president of Texas Nameplate Company, will be the keynote speaker for the
2008 Georgia Oglethorpe Annual Conference and Awards Banquet. A visionary leader and inspirational speaker, Crownover led the continuous quality improvement program at Texas Nameplate and achieved many impressive organizational performance improvements within a three-year period:

- Increased profits by 18%
- Reduced costs by 18%
- Reduced staffing by 30% while employee turnover dropped from 45% to 8%
- Cut cycle time in half and defects by a third
With these outstanding results, Texas Nameplate won the Texas Quality Award then went on to be the smallest company ever to win the Malcolm Baldrige National Award, not once but twice!
