Two-time Malcolm Baldrige National Award Winner Dale Crownover to speak to Georgia Oglethorpe Conference

Dale Crownover, president of Texas Nameplate Company, will be the keynote speaker for the 2008 Georgia Oglethorpe Annual Conference and Awards Banquet. A visionary leader and inspirational speaker, Crownover led the continuous quality improvement program at Texas Nameplate and achieved many impressive organizational performance improvements within a three-year period:

The public is invited to attend the full two-day Georgia Oglethorpe Annual Conference and Awards Banquet to be held on October 1-2 at The Loudermilk Center. This two-day event focuses on learning about and using the Georgia Oglethorpe (Baldrige) Criteria for Performance Excellence to improve organizational performance. On October 1, the conference offers eleven concurrent workshops and an evening reception with networking opportunities. On October 2, the conference offers five morning workshops and culminates with the Awards Banquet. Dale Crownover speaks on October 2 both at 9:00 a.m. and at the Awards Banquet beginning at 12:15 p.m. The Awards Banquet provides a forum to recognize role model organizations and their use of Georgia Oglethorpe criteria and principles to improve bottom-line performance. Attendees will gain new insights and enthusiasm for creating and sustaining high performance in their organizations.
