The I P.A.S.S.E.D. HIV Prevention Program was founded by youth activist and community leader Karen L. Hypolite (M.S., M. Ed.). The I P.A.S.S.E.D. program challenges today’s youth mindset by introducing a value system that targets purpose and destiny. With the use of technology, motivational speaking, concert style music & video, I P.A.S.S.E.D. teaches young people to focus on developing talents and gifts away from risky sexual behavior that can lead to HIV/ AIDS contraction.
The program has been presented at Spelman College, schools in Newton, Rockdale, and Dekalb counties. Ms. Hypolite is the author of 2nd Chance: Life After Sex, a book that encourages young men and women to focus their attention on their purpose instead of their passions.
