Mark Varda joins Private Bank of Buckhead

Seasoned credit analyst's new role mirrors bank's growth

Private Bank of Buckhead announces the addition of Mark Varda, who joins the bank as Commercial Credit Analyst. His responsibilities include credit analysis, loan underwriting and loan administration.

“Mark’s experience, most of which has been in commercial lending departments at Atlanta-area banks, is a great addition to our growing team of seasoned professionals,” says Tony Webb, executive vice president and chief lending officer of Private Bank of Buckhead, also noting that, “it’s significant that we’re experiencing the kind of growth that would call for us to further strengthen both our front and back offices.”

“I enjoy earning the trust of our clients,” Varda says. “It’s always my goal to ensure their banking is one thing about which they don’t have to worry. One way I do that is through a comprehensive knowledge of the economy, which I believe is essential for successful banking.”

He is an avid baseball fan and enjoys travel and the great outdoors. He plays several musical instruments and has an American Eskimo dog, Parka, who was a rescue. Varda is engaged and plans an October wedding.

Private Bank of Buckhead (www.PrivateBankOfBuckhead.com) brings a private banking approach to all clients across all functions of the bank. It is located in Piedmont Center (Building Three).
