Figo Pasta helped Christina Ahumada raise $300 for Team In Training; Now Corporate Donors Have Chance to Help the Cause

The largest corporate donation through Aug. 21 wins a free Daybook Corporate Package

Figo Pasta helped raise $300 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Team In Training at an event August 4. Several where in attendance, and Figo donated 10% of the evening’s proceeds to the LLS.

A big thank you to all who attended and the generous raffle donors:

“Every 5 minutes someone is diagnosed with cancer," said Christina Ahumada, who arranged the fundraising event in support of her first-time Team In Training experience, “but this proves that if we all work together, we can make a difference."

Christina is preparing in Atlanta with Team In Training to participate in the Tugaloo Triathlon on September 12.

Win a Daybook Corporate Package by Helping the Cause
There is still an opportunity for interested businesses to help make a difference. Between August 6 - August 21, the company donating the most money to the cause through Christina's Team in Training site will win a Daybook Corporate Package including a 6-month Daybook Network Expert listing and 5 Feature story publish dates on Atlanta Daybook, valued at over $600.

The minimum donation to compete for the Daybook package is $100. The winner will be announced in Atlanta Daybook on August 24.

"Maybe my experience will help to inspire and motivate others that they can do the same," she said. "No matter what condition a person is in, they can do this.

"Every mile, and every dollar makes a difference."
