WHO:
Dr. Bruce Bode, MD, FACE, is a diabetes specialist with the Atlanta Diabetes Associates and will be the keynote speaker at the Diabetes Association of Atlanta’s (DAA) 16th Annual Diabetes University. Dr. Bode has a special expertise and interest in insulin delivery and glucose sensing. He is the past president of the Georgia Affiliate of the American Diabetes Association (ADA), and has served on the board of directors of the Atlanta chapters of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the ADA, and Georgia Diabetes camps.
WHAT:
Diabetes University (DU) provides a day of affordable and accessible up-to-date diabetes education through a series of seminars. DU is designed to improve the quality of life for people affected by diabetes. DU also educates healthcare professionals and people who have friends and family with diabetes. A professional track for continuing education credit (CEU) on current trends and practices in diabetes education and management has been added to the event for the first time.
