Brookhaven of East Cobb to Showcase Residents’ Homes for the Holidays Dec. 12

Brookhaven of East Cobb to Showcase Residents’ Homes for the Holidays Dec. 12

Jim Chapman Communities, Atlanta’s leading active adult homebuilder will host a holiday open house Dec. 12 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at its Brookhaven of East Cobb community in Kennesaw. Three residents’ homes will be showcased. Guests are asked to meet at the clubhouse.

“We are looking forward to seeing many potential homebuyers at our holiday open house,” said Tamara Hesse, Jim Chapman Communities’ marketing director. “I think it will be a good opportunity for them to get an up close and personal feel for our community and residents. This is a great way for us to showcase the active adult lifestyle.”

The event is open to the public. Guests can enjoy cookies and warm up with coffee or hot chocolate while touring homes.

Brookhaven of East Cobb offers residents elegant details such as brick exteriors with stacked stone accents, custom wood trim, 12 to 16 foot vaulted ceilings, great rooms with gas fireplaces featuring decorative wood mantels and master suite baths with large his/her vanities with full-length mirrors and ceramic tile showers. Offering ample space, homes range in size from 1,625 to 1,875 square feet. Built with the active adult in mind, the homes also provide ample space to entertain, and include such features as kitchens with breakfast bars, GE appliances, custom cabinetry, two-car garages, and large front porches with columns and back patios for grilling. Home buyers also have the opportunity to select a screened porch to take advantage of Atlanta’s wonderful climate or a bonus room over the garage with permanent stair access and a full bath.

Homeowners also enjoy fantastic amenities, including a 2,400 square foot clubhouse with an exercise room and kitchen and a 20 ft. x 40 ft. swimming pool. All of the homes at Brookhaven of East Cobb also meet wheelchair access standards – with step-free entrances and larger doorways and bathrooms – that make maneuvering around the homes easier for all occupants.

Brookhaven of East Cobb is located at the intersection of Chastain and Bells Ferry roads in Cobb County. From Atlanta, take Interstate 75 N to Interstate 575 N. Exit on Chastain Road and turn left. The community is approximately one-half mile on the left. For additional information, call (678) 354-4584.
