The Excellence in Social Media Awards, sponsored by SoCon10 and the Center for Sustainable Journalism at Kennesaw State University which honors excellence and innovation in social media has extended the entry deadline until February 15, 2010. Winners will be announced in an awards ceremony in May 2010.

The SoCon10 Excellence in Social Media Awards Committee, comprised of social media experts, senior marketing executives and business leaders from around the country, will judge the entries. Karla Harvill, Director of Internal Communications for Pilgrim's Pride and President-elect of the Georgia PRSA serves as the judging committee coordinator.
