Join PRSA|GA for a splash of New York style and pizzazz. Sean Cassidy, president of DKC Public Relations & Marketing and one of New York Magazine's "Most Influential New Yorkers," will share how celebrity and entertainment public relations has evolved from focusing on publicity to brand building.
Cassidy will focus on the fast-growing segment of entertainment and lifestyle public relations where he specializes in the integration of entertainment into the strategic marketing of some of America's major brands. Sean's work for Atlanta-based Delta has included launching two "pop-up" stores in Manhattan where celebrities, media and influencers mixed and mingled while experiencing the Delta brand on the ground, as well as efforts to bring style and fashion to Delta with the debut of new designer uniforms at New York's Fashion Week and the debut of new celebrity-chef designed menus and wine lists at the New York and South Beach Food and Wine Festivals.
Attendees at the luncheon, part of the Chapter’s annual Real World PR collegiate conference, will learn: - How celebrity and entertainment PR has evolved in the past two decades and what it means for this generation of PR professionals
- Effective strategies used in the entertainment practice area that are relevant to all forms of public relations
- Ways your client or organization could leverage star power to grow its own brand
