Possible Woman Conference 2010: POWER CONNECTIONS -- Women Linked for Strategy, Significance and Success!

The premier regional leadership conference for women

Once again, leadership expert Linda Wind, CEO of Wind Enterprises, has recruited top women – her “power chick” friends and their friends, several of them national figures – to gather in Atlanta to share their experience, wisdom and inspiration with other women. POWER CONNECTIONS: Women Linked for Strategy, Significance and Success! is the perfect theme for the 14th Annual Possible Woman Conference, which meets this year at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Tuesday, April 20.

The conference always features a dynamic Women of Power and Vision Plenary Session. Moderating that session is Marsha Sampson Johnson, Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Chief Diversity Officer of Southern Company. These leading women have agreed to serve as panelists:

· Susan Grant, Executive Vice President of CNN News Services
· Becky Blalock, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Southern Company
· Chief Justice Carol Hunstein of the Supreme Court of Georgia
· Cindy Brinkley, Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer of AT&T
· Maria Peninger, Regional Vice President in Sales of Avon Products

Keynote speakers include Gail Evans, author of the groundbreaking international bestseller "Play Like a Man, Win Like a Woman" and former CNN Executive Vice President, and Lisa Earle McLeod, columnist, business consultant and inspirational thought-leader.

They follow such previous prominent speakers as Dee Dee Myers, Elizabeth Edwards, Benazir Bhutto, Erin Brockovich, Geraldine Ferraro, Judge Glenda Hatchett, Mary Matalin, Deborah Norville, Della Reese, Ann Richards and Dr. Betty Siegel.

“Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed has been invited to join me in welcoming the hundreds of women – along with some men -- who are participating in this dynamic event,” says Wind, president and CEO of Wind Enterprises.

“We are pleased to be at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis this year and have an exciting line-up of presenters and panelists. Topics this year will include Corporate Leadership, Mastering Entrepreneurship, Social Media, Women Leaders in Technology and Health & Wellness,” Wind said.

The Possible Woman Leadership Conferences feature renowned speakers – CEOs, national best-selling authors, international business consultants and visionary leaders -- who bring together corporate women, women leaders in technology and women
business owners from a wide range of disciplines and industries for an extraordinary day of personal development, workplace education, inspiration and networking.

From a 7-8 a.m. continental breakfast to a 5 p.m. Connection Reception, this Possible Woman Leadership Conference is a day packed with inspiring speakers, interactive question-and-answer sessions, well-qualified panels, informative exhibits and exciting networking opportunities.
