Georgia Association for Women Lawyers Hosts "Find Your Treasure"on March 20
17th Annual Charity Auction To Benefit the GAWL Foundation
On Saturday, March 20, the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL, www.gawl.org) will host its 17th benefit charity auction "Find Your Treasure!" at The Defoor Centre in Atlanta. Again this year, GAWL will raise funds for the GAWL Foundation, providing sustained funding for scholarships for deserving female law students in Georgia. In addition, the GAWL Foundation provides grants to other Georgia charitable organizations that support women and children."Find Your Treasure!" is an art- and fun-filled evening for GAWL members and guests, and includes both a live and silent auction featuring original art, vacations, ‘stay-cations', gift certificates, adventures and more. Tickets ($50 in advance, $60 at the door on the day of the event) include complimentary cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres throughout the evening, which starts with the silent auction at 6 p.m. The live auction will take place at 8 p.m. The March 20 event will be held at The Defoor Centre, 1710 Defoor Avenue.
"This event has become one of the highlights of the year for our members and supporters of GAWL, and we expect it to raise even more funds to benefit the GAWL Foundation's charitable work in the community than last year," notes Irma Espino of the Wiggins Law Group.
