Andrew Wilson, Senior VP and General Manager, Atlanta.net, Will Speak at BBA Breakfast on March 18
Andrew Wilson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Atlanta.net, will be the keynote speaker at the next weekly breakfast meeting of the Buckhead Business Association (BBA, www.buckheadbusiness.org) on Thursday, March 18. He directs all online initiatives of ACVB (Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau) which include Atlanta.net and its family of Web sites. The topic of his talk will be: Branding Your Business.Explains Heather Wright, president of the Buckhead Business Association: "Andrew works tirelessly to build Atlanta's official destination presence on the Web. In addition, he is charged with developing ecommerce initiatives that boost the ACVB's overall promotion of Atlanta. Our BBA members will be interested to find out more from him about the importance of branding your business!"
Wilson began his career at Procter & Gamble, where he gained experience in product development based on consumer behavior. Following, he held leadership positions in business development, marketing, corporate branding and product positioning with companies such as Cap Gemini and Alliance Consulting, and has consulted for CibaVision Corporation.
Wilson later became chief operating officer for Brand Atlanta, a not-for-profit City-led initiative to develop and promote a singular brand identity for Atlanta. Three years later he has transitioned his experience with destination marketing to his current role at the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The weekly BBA breakfast meeting is held every Thursday from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. The City Club of Buckhead is located at 3343 Peachtree Road, Suite 1850. Tickets are $10 for BBA members, and $20 for visitors and guests. For more information, please check the BBA website at www.buckheadbusiness.org.
