The world had changed. We now have a global economy. Global financial systems are in crisis. Revenue is down for most companies. Unemployment is skyrocketing. Governments are intervening. Traditional capitalism is threatened. Competition for paying customers is higher and harder than any of us can remember. The picture is unlikely to get better soon.
Yet even in bad times like the Great Depression, start-ups succeeded and grew to be large companies today. People did get jobs!!! Yes, the rules are changing – but the secrets to success have not changed.
Timing is important. Capability is important. Your track record is important. But, knowing timeless “insider job secrets” is more important.
Actually, when you hear them you will probably acknowledge their truth and timelessness – but have never taken the time to go through the process of implementing these principles. Even if you have heard of these concepts, few know how to go through the process.
The typical reaction is to acknowledge these strategies but then go about chasing tactical steps and wonder why our results are so limited. We are like pin balls in a pin ball machine bouncing here and there, making a lot of noise, but realizing that if we could focus like a laser then we could grow faster, take less time, spend less on wasteful projects, get our dream job, and make a lot more money.

- Social media
- Mass mailings and contact lists
- All kinds of tactical products and services – all taking your time and money.
The real question is: “Out of the fog of competing voices, in a rapidly changing world, how do I get ahead?” Where do I start? What are the secrets and strategies that I can use to navigate dangerous waters and get my dream job in a hyper competitive marketplace – without wasting time or money?
The answer is simple. Why do you think people follow Warren Buffet for investment advice? Why do you think the sale of business, leadership, and how-to books is so brisk? Yet, when it comes to “insider secrets”, where do you get that information?
Insider secrets are those building blocks, principles, strategies, and philosophies that highly successful people only tell their friends and family. Otherwise, they would not be secrets! If everyone uses these building blocks, the playing field becomes level. Insiders don’t want a level playing field.
