Sanford Realty and The Entrepreneurial Development Network set to host An Evening With Ambassador Andrew Young

Atlanta, GA - 08/12/2010 - On August 16, 2010, The Honorable Andrew Young, former congressman, Mayor, United Nations Ambassador and Civil Rights leader, humanitarian, ordained minister, international businessman and author will be discussing and signing his latest book Walk in My Shoes: Conversations Between a Civil Rights Legend and His Godson on the Journey Ahead. In the spirit of his book, Ambassador Young will have conversations with students from many organizations located in DeKalb County and metro Atlanta. Over 100 students will participate in a Q&A following the lecture, which begins at 6:00 p.m. The event is FREE and open to the public and includes a business networking reception which begins at 5:30 p.m.

Andrew Young’s numerous accomplishments have been summarized as an American who has been serving and shaping our country for almost 50 years. It is in this same spirit that Sanford Realty and the Entrepreneurial Development Network (EDN) came together to host this event, which is historic for DeKalb County, Georgia. This event will not only serve the community but it will shape young minds as they have conversations with a man who is a walking history book. The 100 students will be special guests of Ambassador Young and will receive book bags, school supplies and a signed copy the book, courtesy of Coca-Cola Enterprises and Maxine Cain, Human Resource Manager, Verizon Wireless. In addition, EDN will be graduating its Spring 2010 entrepreneur training course participants. All attendees are welcome to purchase a book and participate in the book signing taking place from 8:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
