Join the GSU Football/ACSS Huddle and help tackle homelessness in Atlanta

In it's inaugural year of football, Georgia State University Panthers has partnered with the Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency in support of homeless veterans. The Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency is a non-profit with the mission of breaking the cycle of homelessness by enabling individuals to transform their lives through earned income and benefits.
On May 1, 2010, Samaritan House of Atlanta and Atlanta Enterprise Center combined resources to form The Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency allowing the organization to deliver a stronger, more sustainable impact to the population we serve. Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency offers a wide array of educational and employment readiness programs including programs and workshops that address the barriers that prevent homeless individuals, including veterans from obtaining employment and achieving life stabilization.
On September 11, 2010, the Georgia State Panthers will play the Lambuth Eagles at the Georgia Dome at 1pm. Tickets for the game are $15 with a portion of the proceeds donated to Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency. The deadline to purchase tickets online is September 7, 2010.
