Dr. Benn R. Konsynski, George S. Craft Distinguished Professor of Business Administration for Information Systems and Operations Management, Goizueta Business School, Emory University

Dr. Konsysnski arrived at the Goizueta Business School in 1992. He currently teaches in the Executive MBA, Doctoral IS, and, Evening MBA programs. Prior to Goizueta, he spent 7 years on the faculty at the Harvard Business School. While at Harvard, he taught in the MBA and Executive MBA programs. Prior to Harvard, he was a Professor at the University of Arizona, where he was co-founder of the university's multi-million dollar group-decision support laboratory. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University. He was also named Baxter Research Fellow at Harvard, and Hewlett Fellow at The Carter Center.

Michael Tavani, Co-Founder, ScoutMob

Michael is one of the founders of Scoutmob, running the day-to-day operations, strategic development, and marketing. Scoutmob is an Atlanta-based flash commerce company that has expanded virally in Atlanta since its January 2010 launch. Prior to Scoutmob, Michael started Web Based Brands, which developed desirable domain names into web brands. He previously worked in professional sports marketing for the Atlanta Hawks, Women’s United Soccer Association and Major League Soccer. Mr. Tavani graduated from Berry University School of Law and University of Georgia.
