Atlanta, GA

Malenka is Managing Director of the Daybook Network, which includes The Atlanta Daybook. Daybook helps companies and organizations “Get the Word Out” about their news and events, to the media and to Atlanta Influencers – Daybook is an online news syndication service.

Malenka is also a Certified Presenter for the GBI Cyber Safety Initiative.

The GA Cyber Safety Initiative (GA CSI) educational program is made possible by the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC), which is housed within the Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit (CEACCU) of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) - and is part of the ICAC Task Force Program.

"Of course we all recognize and understand the importance of protecting our kids. But today there are just so  many Apps available to our kids that are changing the Online Safety Rules. As a parent we MUST understand this landscape, in order to engage in respectful discussions with our kids about their online experiences."

The Georgia Cyber Safety presentations are not about controlling your kids. These presentations are about helping kids stay safe online. Helping kids make good decisions - not out of fear or to seek approval, but because they understand the importance of their actions. We want our kids to use their powers for good!

To be successful in any parenting endeavor, we must be informed. That's the purpose of the GA CSI presentations - to inform parents about the online landscape, and to encourage them to have thoughtful and informed conversations with their kids about the importance of being a good Digital Citizen.
