Medieval Times Georgia Hosts Knight Casting Call for Discover Mills Castle
Atlanta's newest destination attraction now recruiting professional knights
Candidates with knight interest and potential are invited to apply. Selected candidates will endure a three-month knight training program in either Myrtle Beach, S.C., Kissimmee, Fla. Or Dallas, Texas, and may later be assigned to any of the nine Medieval Times Castles in North America.
Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament – which has hosted more than 160,000 visitors since July – treats guests to the spectacular pageantry of an 11th century gala event, including jousting, sword fighting and gallant knights on horseback.
The Georgia Castle will accept applications for their national knight training program during three days of knight casting calls. Successful candidates will eventually be trained (and required) to joust and fall from horseback and to swordfight.
The knight castings calls are open on these dates:
Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Monday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
