Catalyst Announces Award Winners

Atlanta's top entrepreneurs and small business operators to be recognized October 3, 2007

Catalyst magazine announces the winners of Catalyst's Top 25 Entrepreneurs and Ones to Watch Awards, recognizing those who are leading Atlanta's small- to mid-sized business community.

"We were very impressed with the caliber of the nominations and are pleased to showcase the entrepreneurial spirit that is thriving in Atlanta," explained Doug Billian Jr., publisher of Catalyst. "The event on October 3 will be a unique opportunity to celebrate the success of these outstanding companies and to honor their achievements."

The accounting firm of Gifford, Hillegass & Ingwersen, LLP, the Atlanta-based accounting and advisory firm, independently evaluated and verified the information submitted by the nominees. GH&I has teamed with Catalyst magazine to select this year's award winners and have been a meaningful partner since the award's inception.

After conducting field interviews, reviewing financial data, and compiling evaluation results, the selection team considered four equally weighted factors to rank this year's honorees: growth, profitability, sustainability and entrepreneurship. The winners will be announced in order at the Oct. 3 event, culminating in the presentation of a special award to the top winner.
