GACMG Founder and Chairman Steps Down after Distinguished Service
Kevin Mobley Passes Torch, Will Remain on Board of Directors
Today, Greater Atlanta Computer Measurement Group (“GACMG”) announced that Kevin Mobley has decided to pass the torch as chairman of the board. Mr. Mobley, the organization’s founder, will continue to serve the organization as a board member.
“I have had a great eight year run as chairman of GACMG,” said Mr. Mobley, president & CEO at Ian Thomas Group, LLC (www.ianthomasgroup.com) a leader in software performance engineering consulting. “During my tenure, we have tripled the members attending our regional technology conferences and we now interact with over one hundred local technology specialists focusing on software performance and system capacity. These professionals are responsible for software systems executing hundreds of billions of dollars in transactions in every domain within the Atlanta technology fabric.”
Mr. Mobley, a subject matter expert in the field of software performance enhancement, was a founding member of GACMG and elected chair in 2004. The group’s members are employed at Delta Air Lines, AT&T, Southern Company, Bank of America, Fiserv, Macy's, TSYS, SunTrust, Coca Cola, Kimberly-Clarke, Hewlett Packard and leading technology consulting firms.
