PGA TOUR Superstore Awards $15,000 to The First Tee of Atlanta

PGA TOUR Superstore has awarded a $15,000 grant to The First Tee of Atlanta, which positively impacts the lives of more than 600 young people in Atlanta by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

PGA TOUR Superstore made the grant announcement at The First Tee Atlanta Charity Golf Classic at TPC Sugarloaf.

“The First Tee of Atlanta uses innovative approaches to promote the Nine Core Values and the Nine Healthy Habits,” said PGA TOUR Superstore President and CEODick Sullivan. “The program’s leaders are enabling young people and their parents to adopt healthy, active lifestyles and set the right course for success in school and in life.”

PGA TOUR Superstore and its store associates have supported The First Tee of Atlanta since 2005. In addition to grants, PGA TOUR Superstore provides young people with access to state-of-the-art teaching, club fitting and training.

In partnership with The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, PGA TOUR Superstore supports The First Tee chapters reaching young people in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Delray Beach, Denver, Myrtle Beach, Naples, Phoenix and Paramus, N.J. The Foundation’s chairman, Arthur M. Blank, is also chairman of Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, the owner and operator of PGA TOUR Superstore. He became a Trustee of The First Tee in January 2012, committing $1 million to the youth development organization through his family foundation.
