New Vice President Joins Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods
Hired to launch new division of affordable homes priced from the low $100,000s
Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods is pleased to announce the newest addition to its leadership team, Michael Rosenberg. Serving as vice president, Rosenberg will help launch the Capitol Collection, a division within the company offering affordable homes priced from the low to high $100,000s in neighborhoods across metro Atlanta.
“Mike has been added to our team to play a vital role in the growth and development of our company,” said Gregg Goldenberg, president and chief executive officer at Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods. “Mike brings a wealth of experience and leadership skills to the company that will help it thrive.”
Rosenberg has nearly 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. In 1993, he started his career as a sales agent at Ryland Homes in Columbia, Maryland. Upon his move to Atlanta in 1996, he joined Ashton Woods Homes as a sales agent and was awarded salesperson of the year in 2000 by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. From there, he worked up to sales manager and eventually became the director of sales and marketing. Rosenberg was instrumental at Ashton Woods Homes, receiving the coveted JD Powers Homebuilder Award for customer satisfaction in 2004. This same year, he personally received the silver award for sales manager of the year by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.
In 2005, Rosenberg became the vice president of sales and marketing at Winmark Homes. While there, he helped increase overall customer satisfaction by the largest percentage of any other builder in the market and guided the sales department to surpass company goals.
In 2010, he helped launch Rocklyn Homes as the senior vice president. In this role, Rosenberg helped lead operations, sales and marketing to achieve sales in excess of 100 homes in less than two years.
“I am thrilled with the opportunity to bring Acadia Homes' incredible quality and style to the first time buyer market,” stated Rosenberg. “I look forward to helping to shape the Atlanta landscape by offering innovative designs to our customers. I take great satisfaction in driving through neighborhoods that I took part in developing and seeing people enjoy their new homes. Acadia is positioned well to enhance the current marketplace, and I am thrilled to be a part of the company."
The Capitol Collection will help revitalize neighborhoods with new construction. Homes just opened at Liberty Crossing in Braselton, and there are more opportunities in the works.
