25th Disc Dog Competition at Atlanta Dogwood Festival in April

Only Competing Dogs are Allowed in the Park During the Festival

Hosted by WOOF! Sports USA and The Greater Atlanta Dog & Disc Club, the 25th Disc Dog Southern Nationals - USDDN World Finals Qualifier takes place at the 79th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival, presented by PNC Bank, this spring. Held in the Meadow during the festival, this annual event is a premier USDDN World Finals Qualifier welcoming competitors from Atlanta to Japan.

The Disc Dog Southern Nationals Qualifier tournament began at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival more than 24 years ago with only 10 competitors as a one-day event. This annual competition has grown to a two-day event and has become one of the most prestigious canine sporting events in the South. This year, competitors will once again vie for four invitations in two divisions to the Disc Dog World Finals, which is held in Cartersville, Georgia in October.

WOOF! Sports USA Demos take place on Friday, April 10 at 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The Tournament is held Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and a Freestyle Jam Session takes place on Sunday just before the awards! Additionally, a Novice Toss & Fetch division takes place on Sunday, which is open to beginner level dogs.

Only competing dogs are allowed entrance to the festival. All dogs must pre-register, and all dogs are only allowed at the event site.

The Disc Dog competition is organized by WOOF! Sports USA and hosted by The Greater Atlanta Dog & Disc Club.
