525 North Team Prepares to "Demolish the Ordinary"

New Building Heading for Old Fourth Ward's Burgeoning Office Market

The team behind 525 North, a loft-inspired office and retail development along the Atlanta BeltLine’s popular Eastside Trail, will be clearing the building’s future two-acre site on North Avenue in the Old Fourth Ward on March 29, 2016. A cluster of dilapidated homes and apartments currently occupy the site. To celebrate the site’s past and future, the team will be hosting a small reception beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Atlanta City Councilman Kwanza Hall, Pay Gilroy of RPG Holdings and Bob Voyles of Seven Oaks Company will be speaking briefly about the upcoming 525 North project and the community.

“525 North will offer a unique, creative office space and lend its stunning interior and exterior spaces to the enjoyment of its tenants and the Old Fourth Ward community,” said Pat Gilroy, founder and principal of RPG Holdings, LLC. “525 North has been a vision of ours for years, and to finally see it come to fruition and add to the exciting growth of the Old Fourth Ward community is incredible.”

Located steps away from Ponce City Market, 525 North will span 172,000 square feet of office and retail space. Because of the site’s location atop the Boulevard ridge, the lowest office floor of 525 North will be at an equal altitude to the top floor of Ponce City Market. This will allow for unencumbered, breathtaking 360-degree views of Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead.

Community members and those interested in the project are invited to join the “Demolish the Ordinary” event, which will focus on 525 North’s objective of offering space “North of Ordinary.” Coffee and doughnuts will be available, as well as an activity to commemorate this next phase of office space in the market.
