TEDxPeachtree 2016 wants Atlanta to come "Together". Super early bird tickets on sale

Eighth annual TEDxPeachtree will be held at the Rialto Center for the Arts on Sept 30

TEDxPeachtree, Georgia’s largest TEDx group of its kind announced today that its 2016 flagship conference will be held on September 30, 2016 at the Rialto Center for the Arts. In its eighth year, the 2016 conference theme, “Together,” will feature more than one dozen speakers exploring issues that drive us apart and ideas that bring us together.

“We live in an increasingly contentious world, where civil discourse is more the exception than the rule and the idea of coming together seems more important now than ever,” says TEDxPeachtree licensee and entrepreneur Jacqui Chew. “At TEDxPeachtree 2016, our planning team in collaboration with partners, hope to create an experience that will inspire all to aim higher “Together” as we address humanity’s greatest challenges and create our future today.”

With sold-out attendance six of its seven years in existence, TEDxPeachtree is recognized for high caliber speakers and a global reach. Three TEDxPeachtree talks have been featured on TED.com, garnering more than 3 million views to date. TEDxPeachtree speakers on the TEDx Global YouTube channel command 130,000 views and counting. About TEDx
In the spirit of Ideas Worth Spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
