GEORGIA EDUCATION: PUBLIC PERCEPTIONS & CHARTING EDUCATION REFORM

Charting Education Reform:
The Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education has spent the last 12 months conducting extensive research to identify seven core areas that states and countries are using to achieve great success with their public education systems. It’s called EdQuest Georgia. Based in best-practice research, EdQuest highlights these core policies proven to increase the education outcomes across the entire birth to work pipeline, while helping inform, engage, and mobilize stakeholders – particularly in business, education, philanthropic, and policy-making communities – to work together to support innovative and evidence-based education reform.

Public Perception:
EdQuest is built on the premise that the effective leadership necessary to ensure widespread and lasting results produced from changes in education require effective communication. And, successful communication begins with an understanding of the attitudes, values, perceptions, and priorities of our citizens.

Achieve, a national nonprofit organization committed to improving K-12 education outcomes for all students, will present the findings of its recent national survey measuring public opinion about education. Georgia-specific data will also be covered.

Be part of the important conversations on November 9 to tap into public perceptions that can help in creating the conditions for educational progress and commit to taking the next step with the Partnership and EdQuest’s continued journey toward excellence in education.
