Miriam McLemore and Tom Miller to Co-Host TechBridge's 2018 Digital Event Series

TechBridge, a nonprofit with a mission to break the cycle of generational poverty through the innovative use of technology to transform nonprofit and community impact, is excited to announce the co-hosts for its 2018 Digital Event Series, Miriam McLemore, Enterprise Strategist and Evangelist for Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Tom Miller, Senior Vice President, Innovation and Chief Information Officer with Anthem.

“The TechBridge Digital Event Series gives us a chance to come together and show just how benevolent we are as IT and technology community leaders and help rally support for TechBridge to truly make an impact.” said McLemore. “I look forward to working with my friend, Tom Miller, to see what we can do to make this the best and most memorable year for TechBridge.”

Both McLemore and Miller have been longtime supporters of TechBridge. This will be the second year that McLemore will be serving as a co-host and Miller will be making his debut as a co-host.

“I am excited to work with Miriam to make this year’s Digital Event Series a success for TechBridge, and look to continue building off the great momentum of the past few years in making these must-attend events for technology and IT professionals,” said Miller. “Personally, I am honored to serve as co-host. I have been a longtime and proud supporter of TechBridge and look forward to an amazing Digital Event Series. Anthem believes in giving back and are empowered through TechBridge with the increased capacity to do more good in the local community,” he added.

James Franklin, CEO of TechBridge commented, “Miriam and Tom are two of the most respected and influential leaders in the technology community. Having them in our corner supporting our cause enables us to establish a precedent on how we can continue working toward disrupting the cycle of generational poverty.”

The Digital Ball, scheduled for April 21, 2018, at the Marriott Marquis in Downtown Atlanta brings together a “who’s who” within the Atlanta and Southeast technology community. The annual gala celebrates the impact technology has on strengthening the local community and raises funds to support the TechBridge mission and work throughout the year.
