Release Date: 03.09.2018 | Location: All Metro Atlanta | Organization: C5 Georgia Youth Leadership Program

Celebrate Future Leaders with the 2018 C5 Graduates Presented by WestRock

The program will feature WestRock's CTO Shan Cooper at UPS Headquarters on April 26th

C5 Georgia is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that is part of a nationwide system of sites that includes C5 New England, C5 LA and C5 Texas. Our legacy is rooted in the good works of former Coca-Cola Enterprises CEO John Alm and was launched with an initial $35 million investment from The Coca-Cola Company and its bottlers under a name that belied the organization’s dedication to unique, hands-on leadership experiences for underserved teens: Camp Coca-Cola.

Today, we are C5 Georgia, dedicated to creating Character-driven, Community-focused, Challenge-ready, College-bound teens Committed to a better future. Our five-year program of immersive, intensive student involvement is unique and recognized as an exemplary model. In 2010, we celebrated the graduation of the very first students to complete the full C5 Georgia program.

The mission of the C5 Youth Foundation of Georgia is to change the odds for high-potential teens from under-resourced environments, inspiring them to pursue personal success, and preparing them for leadership roles in college, work and their communities.

We encourage C5 Georgia teens to be:

Committed to a better future

On April 26th, 2018, the graduates of the program will be ending one journey and starting another. Many of the students are first time scholars and will embark on their journey to college. Others will look at military careers and opportunities to learn skills needed for a techinical position.

This year's event will be presented by WestRock and hosted by UPS. If you wish to attend and support these young people, register here
