Gene Quinn, IPWatchdog Founder: How to Protect Your Ideas

SIA meeting @ ATC Innovation Center 2972 Webb Bridge Road Alpharetta, GA 30009

The Southeastern Inventors Association welcomes Gene Quinn to address questions about the differences between the types of patents. Learn when and why someone may need all 3 types to protect their intellectual property.  He will also review when, why, and how non-disclosure documents may have a significant impact on the success of an innovation.  Joining us via SKYPE this Saturday morning, Gene will be taking questions from our members and guests after his presentation.

In 2017 , Mr. Quinn was recognized by IAM Magazine as one of the top IP strategists in the world. Gene’s particular specialty as a patent attorney is in the area of strategic patent consulting, patent application drafting, and patent prosecution. He primarily works with inventors, entrepreneurs and start-up businesses throughout the United States and around the world. Regarded as an expert on software patentability and U.S. patent procedure, he is considered a leading commentator on patent law and innovation policy.  Gene is the creator of the Invent + Patent System™, and Founder and Editor of IPWatchdog.com, which he started in 1999.  IPWatchdog.com is the leading Intellectual Property Law Journal on the Internet and in January 2014, it was inducted into the ABA Blawg Hall of Fame.

Mark your calendars for December 8th

Attorney Sydnee Mack will join us.  Her boutique transactional law firm specializes in Sports & Entertainment, Small Business and Trademark Law.  Sydnee is also author of 10 Steps to StartUP, a fun, easy-to-read, legal and business strategy resource for entrepreneurs interested in taking their business goals to the next level.
